When Suri contacted me to book her baby’s newborn session, she was concerned about her five year old daughter’s allergic reaction and rash. I had her send me a photo, since some rashes are easier to Photoshop away than others! In the end, we decided to wait until the rash healed, and baby Abby was already three weeks old at this session. (Most newborn baby sessions take place at 1-2 weeks of age.)
Abby was a delight to photograph! She had big gorgeous eyes, but didn’t keep them open for more than a millisecond at a time, so we got plenty of peaceful sleeping shots of her.
You can see how proud the big sister and brother are of their new princess.
I am in love with Abby’s stunning hair, and just a tad jealous! I actually entered the close-up photo of Abby laying on the cream rug in a photography contest whose theme was ‘hair’, but I did not win. Her locks are so dark and lush; I actually cropped some photos differently than my usual style, since I didn’t want her strands to be cropped out!
Mom loved neutral colors and purple, as you’ve probably guessed, and Abby looked adorable in all of the setups.
