Princess Kaycee arrived at the studio after I’d had a long string of newborn boys! I was truly ready to bring on the headbands and flowers and do a feminine shoot!
Kayce was born several weeks early, and her newborn photo session took place when she was 3 weeks old. She slept like a champ, and was also awake and gave us perfect eye contact when she was on the lavender blanket.
At 3 years of age, big brother Kai was so proud to hold his little baby. During the shoot, I hadn’t had a chance to notice that Kayce smiled while Kai was holding her. At the end of the session, when Tameka, the gorgeous mom, was choosing her images, we saw that Kayce and Kai had both smiled in the same photo! I believe that all the stars, planets, and galaxies in the universe must have lined up for that to happen! I occasionally get newborn smiles, and 3 year olds will generally smile at me; yet to have both occur in the same image was absolutely awesome!
