When Sameeha was getting ready for her upcoming baby’s newborn photo shoot, she prepared thoroughly. As a talented graphic designer, Sameeha has an artistic and discerning eye for details. I was honored to be chosen as her newborn photographer, and it was a pleasure working with her every step of the way!
Most of my clients have color preferences, some have posing preferences too; yet others have no idea what they want — they say, “Chaya, you just work your magic” and give me free reign on the session. Sameeha sent me detailed PDF’s about the colors, props, and headbands that she liked best. Setting up for this session was really simple, as her guide led me through each and every setup!
Mom and Dad are Eagle’s football fans, so they brought a Super Bowl teddy bear, and we swaddled baby Kara in the team’s color, a lovely shade of teal.
We used several digital backdrops with elaborate floral designs, and baby Kara scarcely opened her eyes throughout the session! Big sister Esme let it be known that posing for photos was not her favorite activity, yet we managed to capture several adorable shots of her.
