Although my friend Lolly looks like she’s 25, she is actually a grandmother of several adorable grandchildren!
After I had photographed her grandson as a newborn, she decided to dedicate a wall of her home to grandchildren’s portraits and commissioned me to take the photos. I also recently photographed these handsome three boys, the grandchildren from out of town, when they visited Baltimore.
Sweet five year old Lizzy was an absolute joy to work with! She arrived with a selection of fashionable clothing from a local children’s clothing boutique and was thrilled to model every outfit. The purple velvet jumper was her favorite, and I think mine as well!
I used several different background colors (can you tell that I love neutral backdrops?!), and brought in a few different simple props.
The photo of Lizzy laying on the white settee with the fur cuffs and matching socks is my very favorite — she looks like she stepped out of a Vogue Kids fashion magazine!
