I was so excited to have baby Becca back at the studio for her 4 month session! It’s absolutely outstanding to see how much babies grow in just a few weeks! You can see Becca’s newborn photos and your jaw will drop with amazement! When it’s time for you to book a baby photographer in Baltimore, don’t wait for the last minute, as your baby will keep changing daily throughout that incredible first year!
Becca’s mom scheduled a mini session, which meant that big sister Emma was not in these photos. 3 year old kids don’t change much in 4 months, but babies change virtually every day! When Becca arrived, she wanted a quick snack, and then we got her ready for her portraits. Parents usually bring several outfits along (some parents bring a whole suitcase of clothing!), and I have a few options here at the studio too. It wasn’t easy to position the headbands on Becca, as she was one of the most wiggly little girls I’ve ever encountered! Eventually, Mom held Becca’s head while I quickly put the headband on!
At this stage, most babies are happy to lay on their tummies for just a few moments at a time, so I have to act fast — before they get cranky. Becca transitioned from wide smiles to loud howls pretty quickly, but we only post the happy photos:)
The photo with the burgundy flowered headband is especially meaningful to me, as Becca wore that at her newborn session too! We are planning a collage for her first birthday which showcases Becca wearing that headband at each of her milestone sessions.
