The photographer you choose will be handling your precious baby for a few hours, so you want to make sure that she (I only know one male newborn photographer, and he’s in Australia!) is someone you fully trust. It goes without saying that you will be reviewing the photographer’s portfolio to ascertain that her style matches yours. Take the time to read Google and social media reviews, and feel free to ask for references. The newborn stage passes in the blink of an eye, and this is a unique time where you can never go back and re-do the newborn photos a few weeks later, in case you weren’t satisfied with your portraits.
